Village Voice - April 2024

Dear Neighbors:
With a very heavy heart I regret to inform you about the passing of former Village Trustee Tom Hewes. Tom passed away in January, after a courageous and hard fought battle against cancer. Tom served on the Village Board for 9 years. During his time on the Village Board, you could always count on Tom to be thinking of ways to improve Ringwood. No idea was too big or small for Tom. Tom was a selfless and thoughtful person. He always put others’ concerns and interest ahead of his own. Tom was truly dedicated to making Ringwood a great place to live and raise a family. He will be greatly missed. This spring, the Village Board will plant a tree in the Village Hall park in Tom’s memory.
