Annual Village Picnic

RINGWOOD —  AUGUST 23, 2026

Ringwood will hold its Annual Town Picnic. 

Here's our Picnic lineup: 

• The Picnic will begin at noon at the Village Hall. Food will be served from 12:30 P.M. till 1:30 P.M. The menu includes a pig roast, hamburgers, hot dogs, side dishes, sweet corn and ice cream. All of which is catered by Ringwood's own Rusty Nail Bar & Grill and DJ entertainment throughout the picnic. 

• 1:30 P.M. - America 250 - To celebrate the 250th anniversary of America's Independence, an Honor Guard will kick-off our celebration followed by a combination of the Johnsburg High School and Junior High School band America 250 members who will join us to play patriotic songs for approximately YEARS 15 minutes. Immediately following this special music, we will recognize our 1776 - 2026 veterans for their important role they have played in making this special milestone possible. 

• 2:15 P.M. - Adults and Kids Raffle will begin. You must be present to win. 

• Lots of fun for the kids. There will be the "Moon Walk" ", rock climbing wall, face painting and more. • Food drive to benefit the FISH food pantry of McHenry. We are asking that each person bring a non-perishable food item to donate. Monetary donations for the FISH food pantry will also be accepted.
